Marie Battiste on  Education as Cognitive Imperialism to Cognitive Justice: Taking it personal.

As part of The Canadian History of Education Association (CHEA) 20th Biennial Conference to be held in Fredericton, CHEA will be hosting a public lecture by Dr. Marie Battiste, Professor, Educational Foundations, College of Education, University of Saskatchewan, entitled Education as Cognitive Imperialism to Cognitive Justice: Taking it personal. 

Dr. Battiste’s talk is part of the Dr. Ottilia Chareka Memorial Lecture in Education and Social Justice series established by the Faculty of Education, UNB.  

The lecture will take place on Thursday October 18th, 7pm to 8:30pm Crowne Plaza, Junior Ballroom. A reception will follow at the Crowne Plaza.
