The public is invited to the launch of Along the Pipeline Route with photographer Robert van Waarden on Tuesday, May 3 at 7:00pm at Conserver House, 180 Saint John St., Fredericton.

In the summer of 2014, photographer Robert van Waarden travelled the 4500km length of the newly proposed Energy East pipeline across Canada from Hardisty, Alberta to Saint John, New Brunswick. Using a 4×5 film camera, van Waarden hopes to put a human face on this pipeline proposal and elevate the conversation in Canada about pipelines and climate change.

The exhibition will be on display at Conserver House for the entire duration of the Mayworks Festival from April 28 to May 7. The public can view the exhibition on weekdays, 9:00 am to 4:00pm.
