The annual Silver Wave Film Festival features something for everyone. This year’s event offers a showcase of multicultural, new youth screenings, French and English programming of all genres and lengths and a comprehensive industry series which brings experienced and emerging producers and filmmakers together.

Silver Wave is jam packed with exciting events and programming with diversity and depth. The Festival is the brainchild of the board and staff at the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative and is their volunteer labour.

“Celebrating 18 years is an important milestone for the Silver Wave Film Festival,” says Tony Merzetti, Executive Director of the New Brunswick Film Co-op. “When you reflect back on our beginnings and consider the market here in Atlantic Canada, it really is terrific to see how we’ve grown to become an important cultural event in New Brunswick and the Atlantic region. From our commitment to diversity in our programming and community atmosphere to our array of scintillating events, the New Brunswick Film Co-op looks forward to Silver Wave 2018 running November 8-11th.”

L’INFORMATION
Le tout récemment bâptisé le Festival du film Silver Wave met en vedette des films pour tous et chacun. L’événement de cette année offre des présentations multiculturelle et nouvelle générations, une programmation francophone et anglophone de tous les genres, courts et longs métrages ainsi qu’une série industrieuse qui réunira ensemble, des producteurs d’expérience, ceux qui en sont à leur première expérience et des cinéastes.

Le Festival du film Silver Wave est remplie à craquer d’événements excitants et d’une programmation diversifiée et profonde. Le Festival est une idée du Conseil et du personnel de la New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative.
