New Brunswick Legislative Building

Fredericton, New Brunswick
Join the St. Thomas Students’ Union in partnership with the New Brunswick Student Alliance and other student unions across New Brunswick as we tell the Government of New Brunswick #Don‘tCutOurFuture.
On September 26th at 4:30PM, join us in the UNB Quad as we march together to the New Brunswick Legislative Building and show the Government of NB that we noticed the cuts and we want change. Let’s stand together and ask for a strategic vision for post-secondary education that includes an accessible debt relief program and more investments into upfront, non-repayable needs based grants. #DontCutOurFuture

Our rally will be held at the legislative building in Downtown Fredericton on September 26th from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm. Our asks are simple:
We need a new debt relief program.
We need more investment in upfront, non-repayable needs-based grants to make education accessible to everyone.
And no more cuts to our future!Share how the cuts to financial aid has affected you here:
