Room 204, Wu Conference Center, UNB-Fredericton
Green Economy Hubs support networks of local businesses to set and achieve sustainability targets. Hubs bring together, empower, and celebrate businesses as they achieve their goals. The model started in Ontario and is now being explored in New Brunswick. Since 2008, seven Hubs in Ontario engaged over 265 businesses, and have collectively committed to reducing 102,874 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions!

The Green Economy Hubs model demonstrates that sustainability and profitability go hand-in-hand: businesses engaged in Hubs have seen financial benefits and a broader business case for taking action on sustainability. We want to bring these economic and environmental benefits to New Brunswick!
