Rural Issues Workshop #1: Tom Beckley, “Energy and the rural sociological imagination”-FR

All faculty, students and interested members of the Fredericton and wider New Brunswick communities are invited to the Rural Issues Workshop series, which will run Fall 2017 and Winter 2018. The first session will be held Thursday, Sept. 14, from 4 – 5:30 p.m.

This workshop series addresses the topic of rural issues, broadly conceived. We will begin by discussing a paper by Tom Beckley (Forestry, UNB Fredericton) called “Energy and the rural sociological imagination.” Workshop attendees should read the paper, and come prepared with comments or questions. The paper and workshop schedule is available at .

Please email for the username and password required to access the paper.

The workshop will take place on the Second Floor of the UNB Fredericton Grad House (Windsor Castle Bar) located at 676 Windsor St.

After the workshop, a light dinner will be served.

Please RSVP to, and advise if you have any food allergies.
