Conference and Workshop: September 5, 2019

September 2 – 8, 2019 has been declared as Respectful Workplace Week in the Province of New Brunswick.

To highlight this important week, the Workplace Violence and Abuse Team (WVAT) of the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research is hosting its 7th annual public presentation series on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Delta Fredericton.

This 1-day conference and workshop is offered as a no-charge public event and will focus on Tools and Resources for Promoting Respect in the Workplace. Presentations and a Reader’s Theatre workshop related to these topics will be facilitated by individuals with expertise related to issues of respect in the workplace and who work and conduct research in professional, legal, union and academic environments.

Lunch and refreshments are included. Registration is limited to 120 people and individuals must register to attend the full 1-day conference and workshop before August 27, 2019. To register please call the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research at (506) 453-3595.
