AIDS NB has opened at a new location in Bathurst at 270 Douglas Avenue, Suite 101 of the Keystone Building. Through the financial support of the Public Health Canada’s AIDS Community Action Programme and in partnership with the Canadian AIDS Treatment Information Exchange, the new office provides the latest information, pamphlets, posters, videos, magazines and other resources on HIV/AIDS, blood born pathogens and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

AIDS NB services also include providing presentations on the various components of HIV/ AIDS, STIs and safer sex practices, Hepatitis C, safe tattooing practices, nutrition workshops, supports for PLWHAs (persons living with HIV/ AIDS) and referrals to other essential service providers.

AIDS New Brunswick/SIDA Nouveau-Brunswick Inc. is a provincial organization committed to facilitating community-based responses to the issues of HIV/AIDS.

The aim is to promote and support the health and well-being of persons living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and to reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS in New Brunswick.

The Bathurst AIDS NB office is open Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Please feel free to drop by and meet with service providers, Catherine Doucet or Dominic Doucet, or call 506 549-1215. Visit AIDS NB online at www.aidsnb.com or email north [at] aidsnb [dot] com for more information.
