Postal workers participate in protest against axing NB Advisory Council on the Status of Women

Beth Lyons, formerly with the NB Advisory Council on the Status of Women, spoke at the Atlantic regional conference of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Lyons mentioned the NB RebELLEs’ photo protest that involves taking pictures of people with tape over their mouths with Alward written on it. The conference participants decided to participate in the photo protest and do a group photo.

Ruth Breen is a labour activist with CUPW, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. She lives in Fredericton.
