Reading Time: 1min read

The Co-operative Enterprise Council and Shape Shift Strategies will be co-hosting an Art of Hosting training in Fredericton, NB from January 8th-10th.  The Art of Hosting is a set of facilitation patterns and practices that enable us to engage people in meaningful conversations. We are building on the momentum of a little teaser we did in early October which drew a diverse audience and a common interest in gaining the facilitation skills needed to host the conversations we needed in our communities, organizations, and regions.

The theme is Fostering the Conditions for Social Innovation and Community Engagement.  The invitation is attached and you can find a link to more information here: http://artofhosting.ning.com/events/art-of-hosting-conversations-that-matter-fredericton-nb.

The Art of Hosting in January is for forward thinking leaders, other innovators, organizational and community leaders who are seeking higher impact ways to engage, inspire and activate innovation and business value within their teams and stakeholders.  Come prepared to step in, step up and practice.  Participants are invited to bring key issues, challenges, existing and emerging projects, provocative questions.  The stuff you are working on now – or want to begin soon.  Bring your team, a colleague, a sparring partner and ally.  You will gain a common language, frame of reference to support each other and fuel your courage.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
