durhambridgejune2012The New Brunswick government is engaging New Brunswickers on shale gas. The second of nine public meetings was held in Durham Bridge on June 12th. A number of Durham Bridge residents and people from nearby communities spoke against shale gas development in Durham Bridge and the province. The New Brunswick government is being criticized for not planning meetings in the cities of Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton as well as Charlotte County while going to Grand Falls where there is no plan to explore for shale gas.
