Reproductive Justice NB launches petition to fund clinical abortion services

The Gallant Liberals promised to remove all barriers to abortion access in New Brunswick as part of their 2014 election platform. Every Canadian province that has abortion clinics provides medicare funding for people to access an abortion in community-based clinics, except New Brunswick.

Reproductive Justice NB has launched a petition calling on the New Brunswick government to fund abortion services in community settings, starting with Clinic 554 in Fredericton. The group is collecting signatures until April 30, 2016.
