Call for Board Nominations
Editorial Board
Our editorial board members edit contributions to our NB Media Co-op online publication, our print publication The Brief, or other media of the Co-op. Our editors ensure contributions follow our contributor guidelines, and they communicate with the authors during editing to ensure that the spirit of the original work is maintained.
As per the bylaws, editors must have worked for the Co-op before becoming an editor. Don’t let this stop you! If you are interested in getting started on editing tasks for the Co-op, contact us as we are always looking for new editors, proofreaders and fact-checkers.
To apply: send us two paragraphs about yourself, what you can offer to the editorial board and why you are interested in the position in advance of the Annual General Meeting at info@nbmediacoop.org.
Voting will take place at the Annual General Meeting. If you have any questions, email info@nbmediacoop.org.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors members ensure that the NB Media Co-op fulfills its objectives of democratizing the media and providing a media outlet for under-reported and misrepresented stories, issues and views both online and in print. Three positions are open for election at the 2019 annual general meeting. The board of directors meets four times a year.
To apply: send two paragraphs about yourself, what you can offer to the board and why you are interested in the position in advance of the Annual General Meeting at info@nbmediacoop.org.
