Tertulia – Vladimir Tasić on Alain Badiou [video]

Vladimir Tasić delivered a tertulia on philosopher Alain Badiou on October 21, 2020.

Tasić is a professor of mathematics and the author of several novels, some of which appeared in French, German, and Italian. His research interests include connections between mathematics and continental philosophy, in particular the role of mathematics in the work of Badiou.

Watch Tasić’s talk here:

What is a tertulia? A tertulia is a kind of philosophy café where the lives and ideas of big thinkers, artists and other people who left a mark are shared with a broader community of curious people.

Upcoming Tertulias

Nov 19 – David Bedford on the Marshall Decision Two Decades Later: Emancipation as Oppression

Nov 25 – Margaret Kress on Winona LaDuke
