These treaties did not deal with land ownership nor the surrender of resources.\n\n\nCet évènement se déroule sur les territoires traditionnels et non-cédés des peuples Wəlastəkewiyik. Au XVIII siècle, leurs ancêtres, avec les Mi’Kmaq / Mi’kmaw et Passamaquoddy / Peskotomuhkati, ont signé les Traités de Paix et d’Amitié avec la Couronne Britannique.
