SUMMARY:ArtsLink’s CATAPULT PITCH AND RECEPTION
DESCRIPTION:CATAPULT PITCH AND RECEPTION\n\nWu Conference Centre, 6 Duffie Drive, UNB campus, Fredericton\nFriday, December 6, 7:00-8:30 pm\n\nAfter eight weeks of intensive training, six Fredericton artists have the business chops they need to make it as professional artists. On December 6, they’ll prove it by pitching themselves to artists, stakeholders, and government officials at the graduation event for ArtsLink’s CATAPULT program.\n\nThe event is free and open to the public.\n\nThe artists will present for roughly five minutes each, and a light reception will follow. Artists include playwright Greg Everett, wildlife illustrator Kaitlyn Hoyt, spoken word poet and writer Thandiwe McCarthy, landscape artist Brittany Schuler, print, jewellery and ceramic artist Anne Stillwell-LeBlanc, and abstract mixed-media artist Alison Veino.\n
