Building Belonging: A Community Dialogue About Encampments in Saint John

An important community event will take place on Thursday, September 25, from 1:30–3:30 p.m. at the Kent Theater in Saint John, New Brunswick.

The afternoon will begin with a talk by Dr. Laura Pin of Wilfrid Laurier University, a leading scholar on housing, policy, and encampments. Following Dr. Pin’s presentation, a community panel will feature individuals with frontline experience working directly with encampments in Saint John.

The event will offer an opportunity to reflect on the realities of life in encampments, share lived expertise, and explore ways to build greater understanding and awareness.
