The Archaeological Institute of America New Brunswick Society invites the Fredericton community to a fascinating illustrated lecture by Dr. Gretchen Meyers, from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA, entitled Ceremonial Cloth: Images of Women and Textiles in Etruscan Art. Who were the Etruscans? Come and join us as Dr. Meyers probes into the various social rituals of this culture by examining the coloured and elaborately composed textiles featured in Etruscan art.
