Policy Forum to Advance Solutions for Indian Residential School Crimes Against Humanity in Canada

Policy Forum to Advance Solutions for Indian Residential School Crimes Against Humanity in Canada

Protect Our Indigenous Sisters Society BC (POISSBC) invites you to
join us in efforts to advance discussions on next steps for Indigenous
children harmed at the Indian Residential Schools in Canada, including
the 215 children found in unmarked graves at the Kamloops Indian
Residential School and 104 children found in Manitoba.

The intent of the forum is to have an earnest discussion on practical
next steps, explore how our communities may work together in order to
bring this long-standing issue forward as a case to the International
Criminal Court (ICC) (Rome Statute), and consider other viable options
for justice for Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Date: July 1, 9 am – 1 pm PDT
