What: Waffles and solidarity. Hear from migrant workers about why regularizing the immigration status of migrants in Canada is important.
When: Sunday, March 17 at 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Part of the national Migrant Spring day of action.
Where: Conserver House, 180 Saint John St., Fredericton
In 2021, the Trudeau government announced a plan for regularizing the immigration status of migrants in Canada. The Canadian government has yet to accomplish this. In fact, Canada has deported 104 per cent more people since the 2021 announcement.
Join us in calling for an end to the deportations and regularization of the status of the undocumented already in the country to protect people from abuse, violence and exploitation.
