Our next tertulia features Raluca Bejan on Slavoj Žižek on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7:00pm at Milda’s in the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte Street.

Slavoj Žižek is a Slovenian philosopher and cultural theorist. He writes on popular culture, politics and psychoanalysis. Raluca Bejan is an Assistant Professor in Social Work at St. Thomas University.

What is a tertulia? A tertulia can be described as a literary and artistic social gathering or philosophy cafe where participants talk about ideas. Tertulias combine words, music, poetry, art and whatever else speakers want to share.
