True Cost of Coal: Fredericton Book Launch (All Ages)
Join us at 2pm on Sunday, May 15th, at the Conserver House in Fredericton to welcome members of the Beehive Collective as they tour through with their new book: “The True Cost of Coal.”
This rhyming narrative and activity book for youth complements their large mural artwork “True Cost of Coal” which took 3 years to create and has been showcased and toured around the world to start conversations on climate justice, sustainable futures, and how to get there from here.
The launch event in Fredericton will include this giant 10 ft by 20 ft mural banner, live performance of hip-hop and spoken word pieces that relate to the story, interactive discussion, and a read-along of the new book.
