The New Brunswick Human Rights Commission is pleased to invite you to its upcoming webinar session on Human rights and cannabis, alcohol, and drug addictions, taking place on March 20, 2026.

This 90-minute webinar session will summarize human rights protections related to addiction-based discrimination. The session will provide and overview of:

• The New Brunswick Human Rights Act and how it protects individuals against addiction-based discrimination;
• Different types of addiction discrimination scenarios;
• The duty to accommodate individuals with addictions to the point of undue hardship;
• Relevant case law examples; and
• The educational tools and resources available on the Commission’s website.
