What The Food?! Migrant Food Workers in NB

You’re cordially invited to the 6th installment of our “What the Food?” webinar series, taking place on October 11th from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm Atlantic time. During this session, we will delve into the pressing concerns of migrant food workers in New Brunswick.

The lives of migrant food workers in our communities remain largely unknown to most residents, despite their profound impact on our food system. Niger Saravia and Sonia Aviles from the Migrant Workers Alliance for Change will help us to understand temporary foreign work, the fight for #StatusForAll, processing plants and labour rights for migrant workers in New Brunswick.

By attending this event, you’ll gain valuable insight into the lives of those who play a key role in our food system. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, ask questions and engage in meaningful dialogue.
