Women’s March Fredericton 2020 – Political action required now!

Women’s March Fredericton 2020
Hosted by Susan O’Donnell and Rhonda Connell
Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1 PM – 3 PM
397 Queen Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick E3B 1B5
The event is on! We planned for cold weather! The gathering at 1pm at City Hall will be short and the March is a short route downtown on sheltered streets. Everyone is invited to join us! The route ends at Wilmot United Church hall. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate will be served. Jenica Atwin will be speaking at Wilmot followed by an open mic session where women will share their experiences on the topic of “Women in Politics” and plans for political equality within the municipal, provincial and federal government will follow. Please consider sharing your voice in our commons! If you are unable to take part in the march portion of the event, please join us for the gathering at Wilmot. We welcome your participation as you are able. If you plan to run or support a woman running in the Fredericton municipal election in May 2020, this is your chance to introduce yourself and for others to hear you. We will have a sign-up sheet for election campaign training for women.
