Tertulia – Christina Thomson on Emily Carr

Our next tertulia features Christina Thomson on Emily Carr on Wednesday, February 12 at 7:00pm at Milda’s.

Emily Carr was a Canadian artist and writer. Christina Thomson is the Programme Coordinator at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

What is a tertulia? A tertulia can be described as a literary and artistic social gathering or philosophy cafe where participants talk about ideas. Tertulias combine words, music, poetry, art and whatever else speakers want to share.

Our tertulias this winter will take place on Wednesdays at 7:00pm at Milda’s Pizzas in the Charlotte Street Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte St.. Come early and order delicious pizza or treats made with seasonal local produce and beverages.
