With impacts on our environment, our water, and our electricity rates, the proposed data centre project and industrial park expansion would fundamentally change the way of lives for the people of Lorneville and tthroughout the Greater Saint John area.
Community members have contributed countless unpaid hours to researching the proposal, gathering evidence, communicating with decision-makers, organizing public action, and ensuring local concerns are heard. As this work continues, the group may face significant expenses- including possible legal costs and the cost of independent studies needed to better understand the project’s environmental and cumulative impacts.
This concert is an opportunity to stand with the community while enjoying a fun and accessible afternoon together. Come for the music, food, auction, and family activities. Stay to learn more about what is at stake and how collective action can make a difference.
Save Lorneville is a community-led group working to protect Lorneville and the surrounding ecosystems in response to the proposed 390-megawatt hyperscale data centre in the Spruce Lake Industrial Park.
