Community Gathering in support of 2STGD Youth

The community will be gathering on the grounds of the Legislative Assembly to support 2-Spirit, Trans, and Gender Diverse (2STGD) youth. In response to the increasing hate directed at the trans community, especially trans youth, this event aims to demonstrate care and ongoing advocacy for their rights.

The event will feature a range of activities, including speakers, music, poetry, lawn games, community art projects, and various vendors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own art projects, picnic lunches, and signs.

Tentative Schedule:

• 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Gathering on the lawn, poetry readings, and other activities.
• 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Speakers.
• 1:00 PM – 3:00/4:00 PM: Music, fun, lawn games, and art projects.

Resource tables will be set up by some organizations throughout the day.
