The morning session will provide information on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) in New Brunswick: what it is, how it is accessed, and what it means for you and your family. Presented by Dr. Hilary Young of UNB Law Faculty, Dr. Natalie King, coordinator of MAiD in NB, and a panel of individuals with lived experience.
In the afternoon we will explore Advance Health Care Directives and the role they play in your long term care planning. Presented by Jodi Lee-White, Lawyer of Wills for the UnWilling and Dr. Jennifer Digby.  Participants will have the opportunity to begin writing their own AHCD.
