Join Independent Jewish Voices – New Brunswick chapter (IJV-NB) for a panel event that will introduce attendees to Israel’s strategy of pinkwashing, challenge myths about queer Palestinians, and provide insights into connections between struggles for Queer and Trans & Palestinian liberation. We aim to open space to address Islamophobia and anti-Palestinian racism in Queer/Trans organizing, and build queer solidarity with Palestine in New Brunswick.

Panelists:
Natalie Kouri-Towe (she/her), Associate Professor, Simone de Beauvoir Institute, Concordia University

May (she/her), Queers for Palestine Toronto

Angus Fletcher (they/them), Fredericton Palestine Solidarity

Indigo Komiwonuhke Poirier (she/her), Fredericton Palestine Solidarity, Demand the Stars Collective
