Feminist geographer Leslie Kern joins us to discuss her book, Feminist City (Verso & Between the Lines), and the gender politics of cities in New Brunswick on Wednesday, April 28 at 7:30pm (Atlantic time) on Zoom. This talk is co-presented by Tertulias Fredericton, NB Media Co-op, the Canada Research Chair in Global and International Studies, Between the Lines and Verso.

With the municipal election just around the corner on May 10, Dr. Kern provides us with a different way to think about the importance of gender in the city. Join us to discuss why a feminist lens is crucial to better understanding urban life.
