A day to heal together during this tremendous time, celebrate resilience, and reflect on recent events.

Code of conduct: This event is Indigenous-led, and we ask that our allies follow us during the Healing Walk.
We ask that our attendees adhere to social distancing guidelines, sanitizing, and mask protocols.

5:30AM – Sunrise ceremony and pipe lighting
5:40AM – Lighting of the sacred fire
9:00AM – Breakfast
10:00AM – Togetherness Social
11:00AM – Gather at Fredericton Library for Healing Walk
12:00PM – Healing Walk Begins
12:40PM – Shoe Ceremony Outside Lieutenant Governor’s House
1:00PM – Entry to Old Burial Ground
1:10PM – Honor song for the children
1:20PM – Lunch Begins
2:00PM – Opening Remarks: Chiefs followed by Possesom Paul
2:30PM – Talking panel with Elders and Knowledge Keepers
3:10PM – Calling upon Jingle dress dancers for healing
3:20PM – Calling upon dancers for prayer
3:30PM – Closing remarks
3:40PM – Social Distance Round Dance
4:00PM – Event Closed
