Sustainability Week at St.Thomas University (Feb 18-21)

We are so excited to be offering an entire week of free workshops and activities from February 18th-21st as part of our very first #SustainabilityWeek at St.Thomas University!

We will be starting off the week with a bake sale on Tuesday, as well as a ‘PLARN’ workshop where you can learn how to make your very own sleeping mats using plastic bags for Fredericton’s homeless.

On Wednesday, you will have the chance to participate in a composting workshop to find out how you can reduce your food waste while enjoying a complimentary lunch. Or, come on out to our vermicomposting workshop Wednesday evening where you will be provided with your very own take-home worm compost.

Finally, we will be finishing off the week by offering a Divestment Lunch’ N Learn (lunch will be provided) on Thursday where you will learn more about what it means to divest and how you can get involved in divestment on campus. And on Friday we will be co-hosting a plant potting workshop with the owners of One-Stop Sustainability Shop! ♻️

We hope that you will come out and join us for one or many of these events!
