Featuring Panelists: Dr Tobin LeBlanc Haley (Dept. of Sociology) and Nicola Taylor (Chair of NB ACORN)
During the panel they will discuss the main reasons for the current housing affordability crisis – 1) The federal exit from building housing and years of de-funding, and 2) The entry of housing-as-investment model of REITs. They will talk about what can be done, the need for organizing and reclaiming this basic right.
