The Gardener and the Golfer: When regenerative farm fields meet suburban lawns and land use

The Fredericton Organic Community Garden, Sustainability Learning Lab (STU) and Wilmot United Church (Outreach) are sponsoring the play in Fredericton, 7pm, November 18, at Wilmot United Church.

The Gardener and the Golfer, in a humorous and sincere way, asks people to think about the importance of, among other things, how our food is grown, soil health and sustainable lawn care and garden practices. The play offers a hopeful message with ideas about things we can actually do to promote food security and sustainable gardening. The play will be followed by a QandA with the playwright/actor.

The highly regarded play would be of interest to folks looking for an enjoyable performance while learning about food security, food production, and sustainable lawn and garden practices with a good example of opponents finding common ground.

The performance is taking place at 7pm, Wednesday, November 18 in the Hall at Wilmot United Church. The performance is free, and there will be a donation jar in support of food security initiatives.
