Theatre New Brunswick is hosting a play by donation in support of Clinic 554 early in March. Consider coming out to support the clinic and expand your understanding of gender!
TNB is hosting a performance on Monday, March 9 at The Open Space Theatre, 55 Whiting Road, Fredericton.
Show starts 730pm, running one hour, including Q+A.
This would not be a ticketed event, but donations accepted at the door to save Clinic 554.
It’s a Girl! is a performance piece created to engage public conversations about trans identity and to provide opportunities for discussions about the new language of gender identity emerging in our society.
How do we perceive differences and how do these perceptions relate to personal identity, gender, and stereotypes?
Inspired by the true story of a child struggling with gender identity, It’s A Girl! creates a safe environment where people can ask questions, have conversations, discuss identity and what it means to be perceived as different.
