This episode of From the Margins features an interview with postal worker Ruth Breen and president of the Fredericton and District Labour Council, Ernie Caissie, members of the Mayworks organizing committee with the Fredericton and District Labour Council.

Mayworks Fredericton events coincide with May Day. May Day is the international day of working people, a holiday in most countries, and one created by workers. The Mayworks Festival of Working People and the Arts celebrates working class culture. The goal behind Mayworks is to use art to explore themes of social, economic, and environmental justice.
