A number of service organizations and faith groups in Fredericton are hosting a Mayoral Candidate question and answer session because we believe that municipal elections are, by far, more important than any other elections. These are the politicians who will most affect our daily lives – water, sewers, garbage, roads, land development, taxes, police, fire, community gardens, climate change and so on.
4 candidates, all invited – Corinne Hersey – Drew Brown – Kate Rogers – Mike O’Brien
In response to questions from the various co-hosts it should prove interesting to hear from the candidates of their hopes for the city so that we can understand their positions and make informed voting choices.
Co-hosts – Anglican Diocese – Black Lives Matter – Christ Central Church – Conservation Council of New Brunswick – Council of Canadians Fredericton Chapter – Fredericton Anti-Poverty Association – Fredericton Heritage Trust – Imprint Youth Association for LGBTQIA + Youth and Young Adults – Solidarité Fredericton Solidarity – Trees Matter Fredericton – Wilmot United Church
Please share this invitation with others – all are welcome.
