Offre d’emploi : Gestionnaire de la COOP Média NB 

La COOP Média NB est à la recherche d’un.e gestionnaire à temps partiel.

Poste : Gestionnaire de COOP Média NB

Emplacement : Partout au Nouveau-Brunswick. Possibilité de travailler à distance.

Rémunération : 23,57 $/heure pour 20 heures/semaine.

Date de début prévue : 15 juillet 2023.

À propos du poste

Le/la gestionnaire sera responsable de :

  • Préparer les articles à publier sur le site Web, nbmediacoop.org
  • Développer notre présence et notre visibilité. Diffuser nos articles sur les médias sociaux et d’autres plateformes.
  • Soutenir la distribution de En bref/The Brief.
  • Gérer notre base de données de membres.
  • Soutenir la préparation de nos rapports financiers.
  • Soutenir les efforts de financement.
  • Aider à organiser l’Assemblée générale annuelle de la COOP Média NB.
  • Communiquer régulièrement avec les comités de rédaction anglais et français et le conseil d’administration/superviseurs de la COOP Média NB.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les bénévoles et le personnel de la coopérative (par exemple, fournir des commentaires éditoriaux).
  • Gérer les communications liées à l’Initiative de journalisme local (rapports trimestriels, etc.)

Qualifications/expérience recherchées :

  • Connaissance approfondie de la COOP Média NB et de son rôle dans le paysage médiatique du Nouveau-Brunswick.
  • Solides compétences en rédaction et en communication (français et anglais).
  • Études et/ou expérience pertinentes.
  • Fortes capacités d’organisation.
  • Connaissance de WordPress pour la mise à jour du site web de la COOP Média NB.
  • De l’expérience en conception de sites Web serait un atout.
  • Expérience de travail avec des bénévoles.

Qualités personnelles :

  • Engagement manifeste envers le mandat de COOP Média NB.
  • Souci du détail.
  • Capacité de travailler de façon autonome et en collaboration.
  • Compétences en communication interpersonnelle.
  • Expérience de travail connexe pertinente.

Job Announcement: NB Media Co-op Manager

We’re hiring! The NB Media Co-op is looking for a part-time manager.

Position: NB Media Co-op Manager

Location: Anywhere in New Brunswick. Ability to work remotely.

Compensation: $23.57/hour for 20 hours/week

Expected start date: July 15, 2023

About the position

The manager will be responsible for:

  • Preparing stories for publication on our website, nbmediacoop.org.
  • Building our presence and visibility. Distributing our stories on social media and other platforms.
  • Supporting the distribution of The Brief/En Bref.
  • Managing our membership database.
  • Supporting our financial reporting.
  • Supporting fundraising efforts.
  • Assisting with the NB Media Co-op Annual General Meeting.
  • Regular communication with the NB Media Co-op’s English and French editorial boards and board of directors/supervisors.
  • Working collaboratively with NB Media Co-op volunteers and staff (e.g., providing editorial feedback).
  • Communications related to the Local Journalism Initiative (e.g., quarterly reports).

Qualifications/experience:

  • Strong familiarity with the NB Media Co-op and our role in the media landscape in New Brunswick.
  • Strong writing and communication skills (English and French).
  • Relevant education and/or experience.
  • Strong organizing skills.
  • Knowledge of WordPress for website updating.
  • Experience with website design is an asset.
  • Experience working with volunteers.

Personal qualities:

  • Demonstrated commitment to the NB Media Co-op’s mandate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Interpersonal communication skills.
  • Related work experience.
