Tertulia: Amy Dryer on Frida Kahlo

Amy Dryer delivered a tertulia on artist Frida Kahlo on October 7.

Dryer is an award-winning Calgary-based artist who is inspired by Kahlo’s art.

Watch Dryer’s talk here:

What is a tertulia? A tertulia is a kind of philosophy café where the lives and ideas of big thinkers, artists and other people who left a mark are shared with a broader community of curious people.

Upcoming Tertulias

Oct 21 – Vlad Tasić on Alain Badiou

Nov 4 – Karen Robert on Paulo Freire

Nov 25 – Margaret Kress on Winona LaDuke

The NB Media Co-op has partnered with Tertulias Fredericton to published this video of the tertulia.
