The 2025 Social Forum in Wolastokuk brought together social justice activists over the weekend in Fredericton.
The NB Media Co-op livestreamed panels, presentations, and workshops to make the events available for those who couldn’t attend in-person.

-Energy Democracy. Workshop by the Coalition for Responsible Energy Development in New Brunswick (CRED-NB) and Conservation Council of New Brunswick (CCNB)
-Debunking Myths, Building Solidarity with Migrant Workers in New Brunswick. Presentation by the Madhu Verma Migrant Justice Centre and the Migrant Workers Alliance for Change
-Coalition Building for Revolutionary Change. Presentation by the Fredericton club of the Communist Party of Canada
-Capitalism, Socialism, Activism: What can we expect to achieve? Presentation by Thom Workman and the Leo Panitch School for Socialist Education

-The Many vs The Money. Session hosted by Sierra Club Canada Foundation.
The Social Forum in Wolastokuk brought together individuals, organizations, and community groups from across New Brunswick for two days of public discussion, workshops, and information sharing. The theme, The Many vs The Money, reflects ongoing efforts to build a more socially and environmentally just province.
