Abortion services in New Brunswick

by Reproductive Justice NB
July 29, 2014
Reading Time: 2min read

The Morgentaler Clinic in Fredericton is closed but arrangements have been made by Reproductive Justice NB to ensure that people are able to get reliable information about accessing abortion services in New Brunswick. Please call (506) 451-9060 for more information.

1. The Georges Dumont  Hospital in Moncton (506-544-4150) and Bathurst Hospital (506-869-2770) perform abortions. Technically, a physician referral is required but we encourage you to simply ask for services as you would at the clinic.
2. If you have access to a General Practitioner, ask them for a  referral. If they refuse, they must refer you to someone who will give one.
3. If they do not, report them to the NB College of Physicians and Surgeons for disciplinary action: http://www.cpsnb.org/
